Cecilia
A psychic vampire (i.e. feeds on energy instead of blood) with powerful mental powers, which she uses to manipulate the town of Lavana (a town situated in the West Continent, that's more technologically developed than the regions in the East). She owns a territory a little away from the town and provides shelter and protection for creatures and demons. To prevent the human residents in town to notice these peculiar tenants, Cecilia controls the people by creating an illusion of an orphanage around her region, and alters the memory of those who accidentally venture in. Cecilia also cares and respects the townspeople, and insists that any creature who asks for shelter must not harm the humans. However, in some extreme cases, this rule is ignored and a person gets injured or killed, and Cecilia has no choice but to cover it up. All this takes a huge amount of power from her and she often becomes weak if she doesn't regularly regenerate. The problem is, she needs the energy of a living being, which she hesitates to harm because of her gentle nature. So, she delays her needs as much as possible, making her weaker and hungrier. Sometimes, this hunger gets strong enough that anyone passing through her area will feel slightly drained, even without her meaning to. As she gets weak, the illusion she created over Lavana slowly fades... and someone will notice some strange things... |
